Borough Market Mid-century inspired

Working closely with Foster Lomas Architects we throughly enjoyed working on the home of this artist and curator.  Her passion for design and love of mid-century furniture allowed for a wide range of materials and techniques to be involved in this project

The Kitchen combined many textures, with bespoke door and drawer fronts constructed from strips of solid oak and the worktop from giant oak "butchers blocks".

The considerable structure remodelling of the house meant for crafting fitted furniture to fit some very unusual and tricky spaces.  The oak bookcase was a good example of the precision of our studio in dealing with such spaces.

The client wanted very mid-century inspired wardrobes to match her furniture collection.  For these Andrea Felice created then tall Maple robes, with steam bent arcs in the corners.
A hand applied treatment was then applied to the wood to give it the hues of a mid-century piece.

Lastly the bathroom took on a completely different feel, and was inspired by a Scandinavian sauna.  The whole of the bathroom was clad using Ceder.
